Bouncing Babies

The twins just love to bounce and jump on anything possible. And our bed is their favorite place for bouncy time. :)

So behind!!

I know I am so behind in blogging. I've just been too busy or too tried to make it to the computer. We started watching Jenny's Katie almost 2 weeks ago and it has taken a little adjustment. A very good adjustment, because she is like seriously one of the easiest babies I have ever been around. But just adding one more small person to pay attention to, seems to eat up some of my free time.

I have also started going to yoga!! I am loving it.They have a great introductory thing where you get 10 days for $10. It was a really easy way to go and not have to make any big commitments. You can go as many times as you like during the 10 days. I liked it so much, that I am trying to make it my weekly habit. My goal is to go 3 times a week. This is my first week to attempt it and I'm pretty sure its going to happen. I just have to go tomorrow to complete this weeks 3 times.

The babies are pretty much crazy little maniacs right now. Beck has figured out that he can hang from the light fixture above the table and move the chairs where he needs to reach things. And most of the time these are things I really don't want him to reach. Like the high shelves in the pantry or medicine cabinet. He even got to my dry erase board and colored all over the wall. Ella is still my drama queen. She is super interested in Baby Katie. She loves to read her books. The twins vocabulary is exploding right now. It's so exciting to see it grow daily.

The big kids are doing really well right now too. I have them both in swim lessons at Emler (the same one I work at) and they are both swimming so well!!! Ben has been deathly afraid of water in the past. He still won't even take a shower with out a wash cloth over his face while shampooing. But thanks to his awesome teacher, Mike, he is swimming the entire width of the pool with his whole head in the water. This is a MAJOR accomplishment for him. The summer is going to be so much more fun now that he can join in the swimming. Hannah has shown some amazing form in the pool. Her body position and lines are great. She just needs to learn to relax a little more and she'll be on her way to being on swim team. I am so proud of them both for working so hard and accomplishing so much.

The Heard Museum

This week is spring break for the kids, so we decided we needed to get out a bit. There is a local nature museum down the road from us, and we decided to go and check it out.

It was a lot of fun. The biggest hit was the sand box. I think we really paid for them to go in and play in sand. But they all had a great time.

Old Friends

In the last month I reconnected with my old best friend, Suzy, from elementary school.

It is so nice to reconnect and to see how old friends have changed and how they have stayed the same. So today we brought our families together.

Suzy has 3 girls of her own. The oldest being just about the same age as Hannah. Which strangely enough was the same age Suzy and I were when we became best friends. It was great to see the kids all get along and to hear the giggles.

Baby shower!

This weekend we had a baby shower for my little brother, Charles, and his wife, Erinn. I still can't believe that he's old enough to have a baby! But he is and I can't wait to see our newest family member.

mixed up week

lots of highs and lots of lows this week. ready for a weekend of work, friends, family, and baby showers.

My little brother and his wife are having a baby girl!! We are so excited. I can't wait to be an Aunt!!

Broom man

So lately my little man has taken to using the broom to get things he wants. He can sweep things off the counter with it. He can knock his sister int he head with it. But now his new favorite is turning the lights on and off with it. But the best part has to be all the noise it makes when he does it. Lots of clanging and banging going on here. And then lots of giggles, which is by far my favorite sound ever.
