teething woes...
The last two weeks have been very loud in the crazy mom household.Its either screaming from the teething or giggling from the fun. And sometimes that happens in a 5 minute period.
Here is the summer crew at our house. The two boys go back and forth between houses and in the pool. They have it made this summer! Hannah has been burying her nose in books all summer and is a happy clam.

this is the little hand motion he makes everytime he hears music he likes. he always taps his hand to the beat.

baby love
My babies are 16 months old now! How did that happen? They have both started to finally take steps this week. So much so, that I think we may have walkers by the end of the week. Its fun and scary all at the same time. But I'm hoping it will save my back, because golly gosh they are getting HEAVY!

Help, I can't hear you!
I think the babies may have shattered my eardrums tonight. The screaming that has been going on in this house this last week has been crazy. Life is not fun with two teething toddlers! And getting molars in really suck.
Day in the life of a 16 month old twin:
Nothing makes you happy and only mommy or daddy can hold you and then if brother comes up and tries to get some love too, you may start to throw a fit because he is touching your mommy or daddy, and they are supposed to be all yours. So you decide to scream and rip mommy's glasses off to show her how mad you are. Or you hit your brother to get him away. Then he decides to hit you a few times and the screaming gets louder and louder until we don't remember why we started screaming but we are not happy campers. Don't forget that we don't want to actually eat anything you give us either. Everything we eat may hurt our mouths so we are just going to throw it all on the floor. Why else do you think we built up all of these fat stores. We had to be able to make during this torture process. But wait you know what does look good to eat? Sand, rocks, dog food, legos, or anything that anyone else is eating even if it is the same food that was just offered to us. Life is hard.

Pool today
Are you loving Brandon's sunglasses? They are courtesy of the lost and found at our neighbor's house. Check out Mike's Elvis inspired glasses a few more down.
Here is my child who would not get in the water a few weeks ago and now loves it. These are not arm floaties that he is wearing. They are parts of pool noodles that have become his "muscles". He was Indiana Jones today.

And the sign that our economy is really tanking...
one of the other Starbucks is literally across the street and the other one is less than half a mile away. I really wonder why they need to shut any more down. I mean can't we have one ON EVERY SINGLE CORNER? Don't get me wrong I love a frappuchino but the plethora of stores are a little excessive. I hate it though when I am looking for one and I can't find one anywhere. Like can't they spread them out a little more. 5 stores in a 1 mile radius- not cool.

Happy birthday to my 10 year old!
I seriously cannot believe my oldest child is now 10 years old! It was just yesterday that I found out I was pregnant with her right? I remember finding out I was pregnant and then doing the math and figuring out I was due right on the date of my best friend's wedding. That was a fun call to make especially when I was supposed to be the Matron of Honor. ;)
Hannah had a nice small party this year. We tie died t-shirts and decorated flip flops. It was a success over all. Everyone had fun and no one got hurt! :)
