Overwhelmed

I'm having one of those days where everything just seems out of control. I know its is all fine and everything will snap back together but right now, it feels like its all going implode. I just need a good cleansing cry and then it should be better. Tomorrow I'll wake up and the world be bright and sunny again but tonight it all just feels wrong.

The twins are in their super tantrum modes. But we did have a very nice lunch out where they behaved for a whole 30 minutes while we ate. This is a record for them lately. The 2's are coming and I'm just skeerd!!! We go from happy love to hitting, biting, and shoving. All in a matter of seconds. I don't feel like we have enough to stimulate them here. But I don't know what else to do. They are happiest outside but the weather lately has not been so conducive for outside play. We do make sure we get out every moment we can.

The big kids are good but driving me batty with their lack of attention span. It seriously took Ben an entire hour to answer 4 questions for his makeup work from when he was sick. And the teacher had written the page numbers that the answers were on. The biggest problem is the complete lack of common sense. I've never met 2 kids with less common sense than these two. The babies have more common sense than they do. Can you teach common sense? We sure as hell try to teach them. But unfortunately they do come by this somewhat honestly. Their father has the same problems. That probably doesn't help my patience with them. When they act just like him I want to pull. my. hair. out. And they act like him A LOT. The worst is when they have been at his house for the weekend and come back. All the common sense we work into them seeps out and we have to reprogram them all over again.I really wonder if any of my DNA got into any of my children. The only thing they seem to have gotten from me is my stubbornness. And I gave that to them in spades.

I feel like I am failing at it all.

I'm stressing about money and I don't even know why. The stress does no good. Somehow it always works out. Like seriously it ALWAYS WORKS OUT. I need to shout it at myself.

My wonderful Hubby has injured his foot. Which totally sucks because he is a server and a bartender. He makes his money from his feet. So a possible stress fracture does not make things good. He never complains about pain. When he does I know its really bad. And he's even taken himself to see 2 dr's about it. I normally have to force him to see any dr. For him to see 2 within days, its pretty serious. And of course the results are inconclusive. We have 2 more weeks to wait to see if a stress fracture makes its self obvious on an x ray. Did you know it takes 2-4 weeks for a stress fracture to show on an xray?

But for now a cleansing cry is all I need. Tomorrow will be a new day.

Leaves!

We finally had a nice day and had to get outside to enjoy it. They had a blast playing in the leaves and running up and down the side walk. I think we all had a big case of cabin fever. :)

My sweet girl

The hot new place to play is in the bathtub with your pjs on.
And make sure you have the proper bed head to rock it out!
and hopefully you didn't notice that it was 3 pm and we still hadn't changed out of jammies ;)
