I really need to be picking the house up but I'm here instead. So what has everyone been up to out there in blogger world?

I've been busy with kids, working, reading and yoga. Yep you heard me right, Yoga. Like the hot kind. Not totally Bikram but pretty close. The room is at 98.6 and I normally do the hour or the 90 minute class.

Now when I leave the class I am wetter than I am getting out of the pool. Its super crazy, but you don't really notice the heat after your body gets acclimated to the constant heat. I actually relax now when I enter the room and feel the heat.

I just finished 26 classes and can tell I am starting to get better at certain things. My balance is totally improving and I have muscles where I've never had them before. I've also gone down 2 dress sizes. It been about 2.5 months since I started and the last month I've been going regularly 3 times a week.

Its a little pricey but I am actually doing it which is more than I ever did with all of the months of gym membership I paid for and only used every now and then. I got my step mom, Malinda, to do it with me and its been so nice having someone to go with on a regular basis.

I haven't actually lost any weight but I have built muscle and lost fat. So I guess it all evens out in the end. If my clothes fit better and looser I am happy. Now the one size that hasn't changed much is in my jeans and shorts. My butt is actually a little bigger, but in a good way. Like a muscular way. Because of that I haven't gone down a pant size, but I have gone down 2 dress sizes. Go figure. The body is strange.

Other fun news is that we are going to the beach in Florida for a vacation. Hopefully the beach won't be full of oil. We will be right outside of Destin, so I'm hoping the oil goes the other way. Crossing our fingers!!!!

24 hours

The formula incident below happened about 18 hours before this beautiful wall art was drawn. I wonder if I kept track of everything that happens in a 24 hour period, how much would I document?


But really, I just need to learn to stop painting over their "art work". As soon as I do they have to fill the walls up again. Because you know I leave a blank canvas for them and all. ;)

Formula is really expensive

and i really really hate it when i walk into the playroom and see what Beck has done to Katie's formula. I know one thing for sure...I'm buying the next box of formula! :)
