Well after a very good dr.'s appointment today, we have two babies that are looking very healthy. We are in a bit of shock but very excited. We didn't know we would get two for the price of one!!
I am a reader of a blog and it brought me to yours. I am thrilled about your twin pregnancy. I have 1 year old twins (g/b). I love every minute and would love to do it all over again. I am not sure you will ever get over the "shock" of twins. Even my husband still says there are 2?! I wanted to tell you about a great pregnancy book for multiples. It is by Dr. Barbara Luke, Twins, Triplets and Quads. Her goal in the book is to get you as far into your pregnancy as you can. She tells you how to eat. (Yes, a tuna sandwich and milk shake is a "snack" food.) I wish you lots of health and I will be watching your blog for updates. Enjoy every moment. It is truly an awesome feeling!
Thanks for the congrats! And I love the info on the pregnancy book. I am such a reader and I have been wondering what the best books for multiples were. I have already ordered it!!
Debbie, I had to share something cute my 3 year old son said... I was looking at your new TWIN ultrasound and said to me "OH MOM! Is that a dinosaur foot print?!!" He was very excited! When I said no that it was 2 babies, he said "Oh..." and walked away kinda confused. LOL I thought I would share - sure gave me a giggle! Hope you are feeling OK! =]
I just saw the new website at Sugar, and it looks great. I have been swamped at work, so I haven't had much time to blog surf or email, so I don't think I have said congratulations since finding out about the twins. So...congratulations!!! =)
By the way, after reading your bio, I'm wondering if, today, you are Sassypants or Grumpypants? Take care, hi to the family, and the walk is less than a month away, so see you then!
