Hmmmm...

Once again life is a little slow right now, not complaining though. :) Did I tell you Beck got his second tooth in? I think i did but I'm too lazy to go back and look! No teeth yet for Ella but the way she has been acting I'm really hoping one pops up soon. Sleeping has been so so for the pair. Ella is still my early waker. She is usually up from 2-4am and Beck is up between 4-7am. They usually eat and go right back to sleep, and I can even take them back to their beds and they'll sleep in them. It's truly amazing. With H and B they were in my bed FOREVER! So its really nice to have these two crib trained so early.

H had her first JUNIOR girl scouts meeting today and was so excited! We brought the babies in for the girls to see and they all squealed in delight which then caused Ella to cry. It was pretty funny! Her sweet little troop has been through the whole pregnancy with us. They all love getting their hands on the babies.

B is going to start Cub Scouts this year (yes I know, Tracey! I'll make sure this troop isn't back woods gay phobic gay bashers and if they are I will edumacate them or sic Brandon on them.) He is really excited. We have our information meeting set for this week and then we will get assigned to a troop. It will be his first real thing just for him. We'll see if its a good fit or not.

We had our fabulous photo session with Jen on Sunday. The kids almost all participated with only a few hiccups. B was on the verge of a melt down a couple of times but smooth talking Jen got him settled back down. She has a way with kids, I tell you! The only problem was that B would not stop talking to her and did not want to leave her side this time. if you remember last year he wouldn't talk to or look at Jen and only stood directly behind her. It took us two sessions to get him to do anything for us. But this year, I think he is getting more used to it or we just caught him on a good day. He still wouldn't lean in when told to or smile at times but he did a really good job for him. And we were laughing later saying that he is going to look back at these images and say "Why wasn't I smiling or why was I missing in so many pictures" and we will remind him what a little toot he was.

The babies were also pretty good as soon as Jen kicked us all out of the room! We seemed to be overwhelming them a bit and Ella went into shut down mode and would only look at her feet. But of course when we left Jen alone to work her magic she got some super FABULOUS shots. I just can't wait to see them!

I just keep on running into a problem with them. I keep throwing more work at Jen to get done (from paying clients) which means our session gets pushed further back. ;) It hard having values!! j/k

So pop on over to Jen's blog every now and then over the next few days and see if you see our fabulous family show up. I can't wait! (and in posse fashion...) SQUEEEEEEEEEE!!! I am so lucky!

Also--- SOOOO EXCITED for the 5k and posse reunion this weekend! Seriously can't wait!
