My latest conversation with 1st grader "B"
b-"So we played this game today and it sucked." (sucked is a new word for him)
me-"really, what was it called?"
b-"suck war"
me- "suck war? why was it called that?"
b-"because it sucked"
me- "ohhhhh, i see"
me- "how did you play this game?"
b-"whoever cries first wins"
me- "so who won?"
b-" the girls won. Janie cried, so the girls won"
me- hmmm (stifling laugh)
b-" and this part isn't funny, so stop laughing. Justin kicked Janie and that's why she cried"
me-"that really isn't funny."
b-"Justin made the girls win"
me-"sounds like Justin needs to learn some manners. You know better than to kick or hit a girl, right?"
b-"Justin is very nice, he just doesn't like girls"
me-"maybe you shouldn't hang out with Justin anymore"
b-"man suck war sucked!"
and this is my life...

BTW, I love your blog. Where do find your blog templates-very cool. Your babies are such cuties. I can't believe how big they are getting!
So funny! He is such a character. I just want to be inside that mind of his someday. Would love to see how it all works in there. The things he comes up with!
