So today I decided I would give it a try. I enlisted the help of my favorite 9 year old and we got to business.
It was a little messy but a very yummy messy.
They are basically cake balls that you form to look like little cupcakes.
Dip the bottoms in chocolate...
Dip the tops in colored chocolate and add sprinkles...
And viola! Cute little cupcake pops. Now this first batch didn't turn out quite as cute as the real thing but the second batch we are working on is already looking better.

Have we ever discussed that I have made these about four or five times? They are super hard to make pretty, but should be easier as pops. And they take FOREVER!!! But the taste is extremely rich and really too sweet for me, but everyone can't get enough.
I was actually going to call you and ask some tips, but my phone was dead. And I totally agree, they are way to sweet! But I'm betting the kids will think they are great.
