SNOW!

We never get snow like this in Texas. Here are a few shots of the kids and one of the dogs playing in the snow.

Ummm...you know you're in Texas when your child doesn't know how to make a snow angel. Yes she is making one face down!

Here are a few shots from Ella's first day home. We didn't get any pictures of her with her older brother because he wasn't into "girls" yesterday!

Miss Ella made it home yesterday!! We are so excited...and tired!

When we put the babies back together, they were both so content and calm!

Beck was up all night screaming last night. I think it was some gas issues, but boy did he wear us out! And I wouldn't trade anything in the world for it!!!

I feel like my name should be changed to Elsie, I am nursing all day long. But they are tandem feeding and on the same schedule as of now.

Still worried about not making enough milk but after our appointment with our Pediatrician with Beck not as worried. When we left the hospital he was weighing 6lbs 9ozs and at our appointment(3 days later) he was 6lbs 15ozs. So he is obviously getting enough food!

Ella is still a bit persnickety on her eating but I think she will pick up on it soon enough.

The kids finally got to see and hold Beck today! They had only gotten to see the babies behind glass so this was a super special day.

Here is a quick snap of my sweet Ella, all by herself at the hospital. She is a trooper! They said she was pretty good last night without her brother. She has been eating like a champ today! They are upping her nipple feedings to 6 of 8 now and if she does well on those today they will do all 8 feedings tomorrow. And if she is good on those we may get her home sooner rather than later!! Cross your fingers!

Beck had an excellent night last night. I think he cried for a total of 2 seconds. He is our laid back man.

Beck is home!!!

One baby home, one more to go. Beck came home today!! We are so excited and sad at the same time. Excited because our baby is home and sad because we couldn't take the other one home.

Leaving Ella at the hospital was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do. It was heartbreaking leaving our sweet girl all alone.

Below is the last picture of the babies together in the nicu. And the pic above was of Beck in his bed for the first time.

We are hoping to have Ella home by the end of the week. She just needs to start eating consistently and then she will be able to come home. She has done really well breast feeding the last 2 days. So keep your fingers crossed that she will keep it all up!
