Texas Weather

Only in Texas can we have a day where it barely gets above 40 and then the next day is in the 60's and beautiful. I totally got to enjoy it while taking a walk this evening with the babies and the dog. I did have to bribe the babies a bit by giving them some juice to give them something to do while riding along. They aren't real into being strapped down into anything. Cause you know its just so much fun to be able to move.

Beck still has a major fascination with the dog water bowl. We ended up gating the kitchen off, which helps every now and then. But when he does make it into the kitchen he is like a heat seeking missile and goes straight for the bowl. Thankfully he is starting to listen when we tell him no and not to touch. Now that doesn't mean that he stops the first time we tell him no. He tries about 15 more times until we redirect him somewhere else. But the look on his face is so darn cute its really pretty funny.

Okay, so tonight I am watching "What a Girl Wants" for about the 50th time. Its a cute movie thats fun to watch and better then watching Cops (even though my husband would disagree). But really people how many times can you replay this movie on tv? Tonight though, I'm glad its on to distract me until my hubby comes home from work. Hope you all have a fabulous evening. :)

Long time no write

I think its been a while since I wrote anything on this blog. I know its been all pictures lately but I have been catching up on much needed family time and rest. The babies are finally sleeping through the night which is fabulous.

I'm feeling like my old self again. I actually want to be social again and see people. I even have energy to straighten the house and I've been getting out and walking 3 times a week. Its amazing what a little sleep will do for you. Other bonus, I can actually remember things again. You don't realize how much sleep effects every nook and cranny of your life but I have found out that life is a lot easier when you get it.

I plan on weaning the babies over the next 6 weeks. I should have them completely weaned by their first birthday on Feb. 20th. Its a double edged sword, on one hand I'm sad its coming to an end because I'll lose that special time we have together and it means that they are growing up way too fast. On the other hand, I will get FREEDOM!!! My body will finally be mine again. I seriously can't wait!

Busy!

We have been so busy and I know I am super far behind on posting. Here are some quick updates and highlights:

H: Is growing up way too fast. Loves riding the scooter she got for xmas. Still a fabulous helper. Selling Girl Scout cookies. If you're local let me know if you want to buy any from her! :)

B: Is my sweet little man and stinky boy all in one. Reading all the time. Cautiously trying to ride his scooter and bike.

Beck: Just figured out how to wave. Its super cute. Eats everything in site. Still has 6 teeth but with all the drool happening lately, I'm thinking we have another one coming. Standing while just using one hand and climbing whenever he can.

Ella: Just started waving as well. She also loves to shake her head no. Still no chompers (do they make baby dentures?). Dr. said not to worry about it and that they'll all probably pop in at once. But she has no problem eating anything at all.

The big people here are doing well. I have a little time off from wok and Brandon is busy working away. Life is good.

Almost forgot: THE BABIES HAVE SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT FOR THE LAST 11 DAYS!!! Like 12-14 hours through the night. It is fabulous!

Its always fun trying to get a shot of all of the kids together. Even more interesting when you realize afterward you didn't have enough light and had turned your flash off and had two wiggly babies. But note how well the big kids just kept smiling. (i told them to smile no matter what the babies did!)
