My tiny little girl turned 9 years old today!!! I just can't believe it. Wasn't it just yesterday that I was 21 and holding my little girl in the hospital?
I always knew I wanted to be a mom and wanted a little girl to love. And how lucky am I? I got two of each!!! But having my little girl first was truly a dream come true. Oh how I loved buying all those cute little outfits and dressing her up. And the fabulous thing right now...she still lets me do it! ( I know it won't last much longer!!)
So I am sending out a very Happy Birthday to the sweetest girl I have ever known. She is one of the most thoughtful, considerate, loving people I know. Whatever she sets her mind to will get done (even if she does get distracted from time to time, or even all the time). And it will be done with love and care.
I love that she reads just like I do and hates to put a book down. I love how much she loves animals. I love how many kisses she loves to give. I love all of her artistic abilities. I love just about everything about her. Even when she reminds me so much of me that I cringe!! ;)
Happy Birthday Baby! I love you!

It's just not possible. How did you let her get so big??
I have tears in my eyes reading this. My sweet, precious little goddaughter is NINE? Deb--I just love all your children. Each one holds a special place in my heart. But there is something about H. It's a combination of things--the fact that she was the first baby for us all and we got to shower her with love and attention, her sweet disposition, or loving nature. There are so many good qualities about this beautiful little lady you are raising. I'm just so thankful that I get to be apart of her life along with her three siblings.
I remember that first day with her little body in my arms. I fell in love like she was my own. Nine years later, I am still totally in love with her as well as her precocious six year old brother and adorable little babies too.
I hope you know what an incredible mother you are. These kiddos are so lucky to have you!
What an amazing, loving tribute. Happy Birthday, Sweet H! You are beautiful!
