It is so nice in our new neighborhood. The school is literally less than a block from our house, so we can actually walk everyday.
So we set out this morning and we looked like a parade of people. Two kids with backpack, a stroller with the twins, two parents, and a big dog.
And then as I walked the kids up to the school and asked if they wanted me to walk them in, what did they do? They waved me off and ran in without me. I think we are getting to the Mom embarrasses me stage already.
So I hope they have a fabulous first day!!! Here are some pics from this morning. Notice H's super cool shoes, not my pick! But she sure thinks they are cool.
Its so hard letting go and letting them have their individuality, but it must be done. Especially if I want them to move out of the house at 18!! ;)

Why am I crying looking at that big cheesy grin on B's face?
Because he looks so stinking great and I just cna't believe he's in the first grade.
The shoes? You can't really tell just how sparkly and 80's fantastic they are in this picture. Just looks like white high tops (which don't totally go with the outfit) and pink laces. But, oh, in person, wow. Those are some shoes. And I love that she loves them so much and is so proud of them!!
They both look great!
Your kids are so cute!
On my way to work today I realized that I forgot to take a picture of Arial!!! FORGOT for the first time in five years. I called Jason and told him that we were horrible parents. When she got home I told her to pretend it was the morning so I could take her photo.
Ugh!
Hey--I tried to talk her out of the shoes, but she was determined, I tell you! But the shoes are cute, even if they're rather 80-ish!
Love those kiddos!
