So after putting the babies to bed H and I had a fun night bonding. We played a little Mario Cart together , had breakfast for dinner (crepes, yummy!!), and then I introduced her to my favorite child hood book, Anne of Green Gables

We read a good two chapters tonight. I forgot how wordy it is, I hope she can get into it. I know she will love it after she gets the hang of how LM Montgomery writes. I seriously used to read the first five books in that series at least twice if not three times a year. I just love Anne!

I used to complain that each paragraph was over a page long and Anne was too girly. However, I kept reading and fell in love with them too.
I have never read that book. Is that bad? Seriously, could she look anymore like you??! Adorable pic!
Okaaaay. I don't know if I can admit this or not, but back in the day, when I was an actor, I played Anne at Seattle Children's Theater. Of all the characters I ever played, she was my favorite. Absolute. Favorite.
I love the book. I LOVE the movies. I cried my eyes out, but I won't assume you know when. I did that once when I said to my husband "Your mom called today and got mad at me when I told her everyone dies in A Perfect Storm". To which he replied, "THEY DO?"
And now, as I type this, I realize you may never have seen that movie. Is it too late for a spoiler alert?
i love that series
Oh yes! "Anne with an E"! I can't wait until my daughter's old enough to read those!
How about Little House on the Prairie? Those were great too.
PS - love those canvas prints!
