Can you believe it? Can you seriously believe it? Barack Obama has been voted president of the United States of America!
I had hopes, I had dreams but I really thought it would be super close but not happen. I know , you are thinking I had little faith, but you never know.
I voted for the first time in about 8 years. And I am proud to say that I truly believe my vote made a difference, even if I live in Texas. Did you see how close the Texas race was? It was awesome!
There is going to be change happening. Let's hope he can do the things he really sets out to do. I really hope people in the government do not muck things up for him.
But seriously people, whatever he does has to be better than what has been happening. Bush and his advisors have seriously fucked things up. If you deny this, then you really need to get your mind checked.
This is all I'll post about this but I just wanted to shout from the rooftops, OBAMA ROCKS!!!!!

I was soooo proud of Texas with how close it was! And Dallas went Obama--woohoo!
I am with ya...scream it from the roof tops! It is a great day in history and as you said he can not do any worse than Bush/Cheney!
I'll shout with you. I am so happy for our country and the upward direction we are headed in!!
It was absolutely amazing witnessing the strength of this Country in voting in one of the most remarkable President-elects of our time. I totally agree "OBAMA ROCKS".
YES WE CAN!!!
And to think I will be moving from super-liberal CT to super-conservative TX soon. :) Our statewide vote, including my own, was 60% Obama. :) We also support gay marriage up here and fly gay flags outside of our churches- gotta love it. :) Summer
