Bridging Ceremony

We had H's girl scouts bridging ceremony this last week. She moved form being a brownie to a junior. She was so excited!!! Here are some pics form the very very windy day. She's getting so big!!

Awwww... that is so precious. You must be one proud Mama!! I can't wait for McKenna to get into GS and I hope to be her troop leader some day (I was a troop leader for a year before I had kids).

Oh, this brought back such memories for me. Girl Scouts was such a huge part of my life growing up - in high school, I got my Silver Award and in college, I was a camp counselor at a GS camp one summer. I loved being a Scout. I was even a Scout leader for five years, before I had children and I had the BEST time.

I can't wait to be a troop leader for my daughter.....

Now that's clever. When I crossed over from a daisy to a brownie we walked across one of those step/teeter totter things. My how the times have changed! Congrats!
