Back to real life on the computer

Well my laptop has officially been declared dead and is about to be sent back to Dell to get a new memory and some air conditioning. (that how I see the new hard drive and fan thingy) Luckily we just extended our warranty, last month, to a 3yr one that covers absolutely everything! YAY!!!

The verizon fios guys came back and fixed out internet connection on the desktop, so I don't have to hit refresh 30 times in a row, cross my fingers, stand on my head. and chant pleasepleasepleasework. So now I feel like am connected back my my internet world.

As soon as I find my usb cable I will upload some new baby pics. I was able to just put the card from in into my laptop and never needed the cord to download, but now I do. So look for those in the future.

The shred is still going. Have been off my schedule as of late and have not been shredding my my usual regularity. I promise to get back on the wagon tomorrow!!! Or maybe sunday. I am still loving the results that I am seeing and have finally seen some weight loss. But I really don't know if that is shred related or if all the pool time has helped that out. Probably both. How are you guys doing?

And Annie- Our next computer will be a Mac. I soooo love Macs!!! One day we will be an apple family over here, just like you. xoxoxo

And my biggest shout out goes to Mrs. T-Rob! Minivanmom--- so super excited for you and the fam! This job is so meant to be. I just kept sending all those positive thoughts out and look what it got us! LOL Congrats on the new job!!! Now sell that house and get your minivan driving butt up here. I will still come and help you pack. Just tell me the day. :) Love you!!!!

Ummm...we did the Shred Level one, and it about killed us. I could hardly move the next day. I didn't even make it through the whole thing. So sad... But -- good news...my DH studied fitness and nutrition, so he's basically doing his own version of the shred for us with our weight machine and free weights. We do a lot of weight lifting, cardio, and abs all mixed in. We've been doing it for 4 days now, so we'll see what happens. Maybe once he builds up my endurance this way, I can do the shred DVD. But -- until then...well, it's collecting dust. LOL! But -- it did give hubby some hints/tricks to use in our workout, so that was a plus.

I'm here to admit that I fell off the wagon and I'm furious with myself for doing so. The friends who were going to do it with me dropped out (one because of long-standing knee problems that were aggravated within 10 minutes of shredding). And I'm just such a wimp. I had a day almost 2 weeks ago where I was supposed to be out of town for half a day and ended up getting home very late and very exhausted. Did not shred. And just didn't get back to it that weekend and have let the kids' soccer, baseball and gymnastics schedules be my excuse when in reality I KNOW that there are 20 minutes in a day for this. (Um, I could be shutting my laptop and doing it, couldn't I?!) Just.so.furstrated with myself.

I moved on to level 2, am on day 6 (going until day 10, then level 3??!!!). I can't believe I found level 1, for the first two days to be so much harder. i might be cheating a little though. I have been sticking with it, except I missed last night. Went to bed at 9pm, was totally worth it. I got up this morning to run in a race, and then CAME HOME AND DID THE SHRED. I am thinking of doing it in the early mornings for now - getting it out of the way. Anyway, I know you don't know me at all - but I follow your blog as well as Jenny's, I hope that is not totally weird - I promise I am totally normal, AND very appreciative for the Shred tip!!!

LOVE YOU and your positive energy. Now just do me one more favor and get me some house selling energy, and I'm good to come up. You're my Secret, lol!

Can't wait to hang out with you this summer!

I'm still doing the shred and the couch to 5K. Tomorrow I will do day 8 of level 2. I am alternating between jogging and shredding. I definitely see results inch-wise but not so much on the scale yet.

I'm on day 5 of the shred. (I had to skip 2 days when I went out of town) Day 1 & 2 were killers for me. The days after those 2 days -worse. But then day 3 came and wah-la I was able to do the whole thing with no stops! ;-) Day 4 even better. I will do day 5 tonight after Survivor!
I know I have a way to go - but I can't wait to see results from this!
