So how do you think I would go about getting Jillian Michael's to pay me for talking about her dvd? LOL. I really don't have any affiliation with her at all but wouldn't it be awesome if I did get paid to work out? That would seriously rock!!!
Okay, so if any of you are interested in counting calories, (I know that's totally old school these days, but I'm just not good at sticking to restrictive diets. I would rather eat what I want and just make sure it falls into my calorie count for the day.) I have a great website that's easy and free to use. I've been using my calorie counter.com. Its really easy to put what you eat in. It will track your weight and measurements as well. Its really helped me keep track of it all. And I have been totally writing everything down that I eat, like down to the jelly bean. If you can't find the food on there that you ate, you can usually google it and find the calories online. I found the most reliable sources were from the actual company websites, but they don't always have the food facts.
We did take some before pictures last week. I think we did it on day 3 of the Shred. We totally forgot to do it before. I really wish we would have done measurements as well, but we forgot. I think we are going to try and take pictures once a week. So today will be the second set of pictures. Now I don't know if we will ever post any of the before pics but we might at the end just to show the progress. Because you know its just not fun to look at yourself in shorts and a sports bra with a muffin top. ;)

Well you should get paid! You have definetly motivated me. I just checked my shipping status and I should get it today. I seriously cannot wait. I'm ready for the pain! I like calorie counting too. It has always worked well and the diets are so hard to stick to. Especially working and having kids. Good luck and thanks a ton for the motivation!! I hope you'll post before and after photos...it will give us all that much more motivation.

Just wanted to tell you that I just ordered the 30-day Shred. You've motivated me to give it a shot. I just had a baby in December...and I really wish I could use that as an excuse as to why I'm so fat, but I actually weigh 10 pounds less then I did when I got pregnant with him. I've been through a lot over the past year, and I've decided to take control of my life in a way that I CAN control. Thanks for motivating me!!!!!!!!!!
Please post a pic! I would love to see them! I tried to find the 30 day shred at my local Wal-mart this week but couldn't find it. I am on a hunt for it or I may just have to break down and buy it online. :) I have been doing the elliptical 4-5 days a week for the last almost 2 months but I'd love to see results like that quickly! :)

Delurking here to say WTG! I couldn't find the DVD local so I ordered it and just started it this week. OMG...my calves are killing me...but what a great workout. 20some minutes and a bucket of sweat later...I'm not doing it everyday, but that's only because I'm also doing the Couch to 5K program at the same time. I hope to start seeing results soon from my hard work. Keep up the great work and post those photos.

First off, I love checking your blog for pictures of your gorgeous kiddos. They are delish! Secondly, you're pretty damn witty and entertaining, and I like that. It keeps me coming back. :) Hope you don't mind! Okay, on to what got me to post. I have 2 of my own (5 and 18 months) and have wanted to get rid of the 10 lbs of mommy jiggle I've been carrying around. You completely convinced me to buy 30 Day Shred (mind you after looking at 7 stores that were SOLD OUT!). I bought it this afternoon, and just completed my 1st day. OH.MY.GOD. I sweated a freaking vat of sweat and EVERY INCH of me is sore!!! You should get a royalty payment for every DVD sold due to your advertising. I can't wait to start seeing results too! Thanks for recommendation! Now I'll go back to lurking so I don't freak you out. Ha!

Awesome! Today will be my second day of Phase 2 (day 12) and well, I LOVE LOVE LOVE phase 2. It rocks the house, although my muscles were so sore yesterday. I wonder how the workout will feel today?! And you should totally go ahead and take your measurements NOW. I know, it would have been better doing it in the beginning but oh well, now is better late than never. You HAVE to post your before/after pictures- I have and it feels great, like I'm holding myself accountable to the bloggy world.

Yes, I have too also recommended this DVD to several friends and co-workers. It seems there should be a referral process. I'm seeing some results. I haven't been faithful about doing it everyday but I am loving the 20 minutes espeically with kid activities and the fact that I can do it whenever. My thighs are killing me today, I'm not sure but maybe I worked out harder last night because my 8 year old son was in the room and watching mommy and I didn't want him to think that mommy didn't work out hard. he, he. Thanks for motivating all of us. We should start a 30 day shred blog for the DFW metroplex. Your babies are adorable.
My dvd arrived today! I'll be starting the 30 Day Shred on Monday morning (but already started walking to prep myself a little this past Tuesday)....Wish me luck!

It's Stacy again. I lied about going into lurkdom. I have another question for you. I'm on Shred Day 5. I started on level 1 with 5 lb weights. (OMG I about died from soreness on Day 3) Yesterday (Day 4) I tried Level 2. I measured and lost an inch of muffin top, but the scale went up a lb. I know muscle weighs more than fat, and I'm okay with the scale as long as I'm seeing results. Did you find the same thing? Also, did you stick with a certain level until you could complete the whole thing as advanced before you moved up? I had to pause and catch my breathe a bit on Level 2, and am curious what you did. Thanks! :)
